In the afternoon she and her party, with Swamiji, Brahmananda and Saradananda returned to Calcutta. In the evening, a meeting was held, [possibly Balaram Bose's house] attended by householder-devotees to discuss opening Nivedita's school. 13 | Sun | Sunday, Kali Puja. Sarada Devi came to 16 Bosepara Lane and performed the opening ceremony of Niveidta's school. Swamiji, Brahmananda, Saradananda, Yogin-Ma and Golap-Ma were present. Holy Mother gave a whispered blessing which was spoken aloud by Golap-Ma. She prayed that the blessings of the Divine Mother might be upon the school, and the girls trained in to be ideal women. |
